The TRIAX TdSCR SMART PSU is a power supply designed to power each of the TdSCR outputs in case the STB cannot provide enough DC power.
The power supply will detect the DC coming from the STB and supply the Multiswitch with 13V or 18V:
- Max supply current is 500mA
- DiSEqC commands will be bypassed from STB to dSCR
The TdSCR Smart PSU is compatible with Legacy STBs and STBs that keep the DC level on the coax at 13V, even if they don’t send DiSEqC commands. This is the case, for example, with Sky UK STBs.
The TRIAX TdSCR SMART PSU can be used with the TRIAX Remote Powered TdSCR 504 RP (318192) and also with TRIAX’s ‘Standard’ TdSCR’s if the receiver is not capable of supplying enough power.
