The Director Collection features a tool-less mounting system designed to make in-ceiling speaker installation quicker, easier and more secure. Its spring-loaded clips provide multiple points of contact, helping distribute the speaker’s weight more evenly compared with traditional dog-leg mounting systems. This design helps protect ceiling materials while reducing unwanted vibration transfer.
Compression Moulded Woofer Baskets
Using a compression-moulding process, the woofer baskets are engineered to provide high structural stability while remaining acoustically neutral. This construction helps minimise distortion and prevents unwanted colouration caused by the basket design.
X-Wave Woofer Surround
The X-Wave woofer surround is designed to improve cone control during high levels of movement. By gradually absorbing the energy created when the cone reaches its maximum excursion, it helps reduce unwanted reflections and distortion, resulting in cleaner and more accurate sound reproduction.
Magnetic Grille
A discreet, paintable perforated grille with a slim micro bezel provides a clean, refined finish once installed. The magnetic attachment system allows the grille to be easily removed and replaced, making installation, maintenance and customisation more convenient.
