The Origin Acoustics D53DT is a premium dual-tweeter in-ceiling speaker designed for rooms where only a single speaker position is available but stereo sound is required.
Ideal for en-suites, bathrooms, hallways, utility rooms, dressing rooms and small kitchens, the D53DT combines left and right audio channels into a single ceiling speaker, eliminating the need for a stereo pair while still delivering a full stereo listening experience. It forms part of the highly regarded Director Collection and incorporates many of Origin's premium acoustic technologies.

Dual Tweeter Design
Unlike conventional ceiling speakers, the D53DT incorporates two separate tweeters. One reproduces the left channel and one reproduces the right channel, allowing a single speaker to provide stereo sound from a single mounting location.
DPSD™ Tweeters
Origin's patented Dual Plane Stabilised Diaphragm tweeter technology reduces distortion while improving dispersion and clarity. The tweeter can be crossed over at a lower frequency, creating smoother integration with the woofer and improved overall performance.
X-Wave Surround
The X-Wave surround technology absorbs unwanted cone reflections that can cause distortion, resulting in cleaner and more accurate sound reproduction.
Tool-less Installation
The patented mounting system provides a faster installation process than traditional dog-leg fixing systems while reducing vibration transfer and spreading load more evenly across the ceiling material.
