The Origin Acoustics D105 sits in the upper-middle tier of the Director Collection and is designed for installers who want genuine hi-fi performance from an architectural speaker without stepping up to the premium Kevlar models.
Featuring a fully pivoting 3-way driver array with a 10" IMG woofer, 4" IMG midrange and Origin's DPSD silk dome tweeter, the D105 delivers exceptional bass response, high output capability and excellent vocal clarity, making it ideal for premium whole-home audio and home cinema installations.

Origin Technologies
Tri-Linear Configuration (TLC):
The tweeter and midrange are mounted together in a pivoting assembly, allowing installers to aim the critical vocal and high-frequency information directly at the listening position.
DPSD Tweeter:
Origin's Directivity Patterning Silk Dome technology provides wider and more consistent dispersion compared with conventional fixed tweeters.
Tool-less Installation:
The patented mounting system distributes pressure more evenly than traditional dog-leg clamps, reducing vibration transfer and helping protect plasterboard ceilings.

The 10" woofer provides genuine low-frequency extension down to 28Hz, while the dedicated 4" midrange ensures vocals remain clear and detailed even at higher listening levels.
