The Lightwave Smart Mini Relay is an incredibly versatile device that allows remote control of volt-free or mains electrical circuits (max 500W load). This relay can switch a lighting circuit on/off, or provide three latching positions allowing for devices that require open/stop/close functions such as automatic window shades, garage doors or electric gates. Each Smart Mini Relay can also be controlled in the Lightwave App, and voice-controlled using Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant & Siri through the Apple HomeKit platform.
The Smart Mini Relay is a very useful way of controlling LED strip lighting. This can act as part of a wider lighting scene in conjuction with Lightwave Smart Dimmers and Sockets which can be triggered by a single button press, from the App, or by voice - 'Alexa, it's movie time...' The Smart Mini Relay can also be situated outdoors by using the Lightwave LW824 Waterproof Housing. This allows wireless control of garden features such as lighting, pond pumps, or automatic gate openers.
Two-way communication allows stateful, bi-directional conversation between the Link Plus hub and every Lightwave device within a property. Performance and reliability is assured by Lightwave’s proprietary 868MHz RF protocol which out-performs normal WiFi and offers superior range with less interference.
