The HIKVISION 4CH 1U 4 PoE AcuSense 4K + 1TB is a compact 4-channel AcuSense NVR with built-in PoE ports and integrated storage, designed for small professional IP CCTV systems. Manufactured by Hikvision, it supports up to 4 IP cameras with plug-and-play PoE connectivity, allowing both power and data to be delivered directly from the recorder. It is capable of recording up to 12MP resolution and supports H.265+ compression for efficient storage use. With AcuSense technology, it can distinguish between human and vehicle events, reducing false alarms and improving search accuracy during playback. The unit also supports HDMI output up to 4K, making it suitable for local monitoring on a connected display.

From an installer’s perspective, this NVR is designed for fast deployment and low-maintenance operation in small CCTV systems such as homes, small businesses, and single-site commercial installations. The built-in 4 PoE ports simplify installation by eliminating the need for an external switch, while the internal HDD bay (supporting up to 10TB) provides local recording storage in a single compact unit. Its plug-and-play camera discovery and automatic configuration significantly reduce commissioning time on site. Overall, it is a reliable all-in-one recorder for small systems where simplicity, AI-assisted event filtering, and straightforward expansion up to four cameras are key requirements.
