This roller shutter contact can be used in most security systems up to and including grade 2 as specified in EN50131-1:2006+A3:2020 and is compliant with EN50131-2-6:2008 and environmental class III.
It is designed to work with control panels that require a normally closed circuit going open in alarm and also has a 1mtr of armoured cable to allow for connection to a suitable junction box. It has a single reed switch and a tamper loop, this contact can be used on roller shutter doors to detect the unauthorised entry of an intruder. The contact is potted/sealed to prevent access to the inside of the contact.
