This switch is necessary for installing the 2N Clip 2wire-IP indoor station. You need one switch for each floor or every six 2N Clip 2wire-IP indoor stations. Conveniently, you can daisy-chain the switches to serve as many floors and apartments as needed.
Each switch needs a dedicated external power supply, 2N recommend using their external power supply (1120302).
Connectivity
The switch includes various ports. What can they be used for?
- 6 ports for connection with 2N Clip 2wire-IP indoor stations
- 2 ports for daisy chain the switches
- 2 ethernet ports (one of them PoE) can be used to connect 2N IP devices (intercoms, readers, answering units), IP switches/routers, or they can also be used to daisy chain the 2N Clip 2wire-IP Switches
Installation
The switch is usually installed on a DIN rail directly in risers or in the standard circuit breaker box (9 positions for the switch and 4 positions for the power supply).
