12-4-21 We remain open as a company and now in line with the English, Welsh and Scottish Governments ‘roadmaps’ to ease restrictions, we have re-opened all of our TRADE COUNTERS with a one company (two colleagues) in the trade counter at a time policy as before.
Please remain patient during these difficult times, our teams are doing their utmost to ensure you receive the same reliable service you have always expected from us. Thank you.
Please note many suppliers and manufacturers are still experiencing continued pressure on price and availability due to raw material costs and problems with freight movement since Brexit and also more recently Suez. To combat these issues, we have committed to large pre-orders of certain lines and increased our stockholding by a further £1m since the New Year.
All Trade Counters are open normal hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday with social distancing and maximum of 1 company at a time.
REDUCED CONTACT: To help reduce day-to-day contact with other people, we need to limit the time customers spend at our branches. We are therefore asking that whenever possible customers PRE-ORDER by using our website or phone before arriving.
MAXIMUM CAPACITY: We request just one company at a time in the Trade Counter area (maximum of 2 colleagues). If we are serving another customer when you arrive, please wait outside until that customer has left the building. Upon entering the building, please use the hand sanitiser provided.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: Please keep a minimum of 2m from our staff. We have screens on trade counters to protect our staff and customers and have marked floor areas. Face masks are provided free of charge for all staff members to use (if they wish) when serving on our Trade Counters.

CONTACT FREE DELIVERY: We only seek a verbal confirmation of delivery. Our drivers will sign for the delivery on your behalf and indicate where the stock has been left as per our normal keyholding service. This is supported by our vehicle tracking technology if confirmation is requested that our vehicle had attended your premises / site and delivery was made.
Any next working day courier delivered orders will be processed and despatched by the relevant branch.
