Registered Digital Installer Scheme

The Registered Digital Installer Scheme is designed to set and maintain professional standards and so enhance the credibility of the industry in the eyes of the general public and corporate customers.

This is achieved by authenticating installers who have proved their competence, reliability and suitability by meeting the Licensing Body's criteria for registration.

To become a Registered Digital Installer (RDI) you will need to meet the following criteria:

~ Level Two NVQ or SVQ in Electrical and Electronic Servicing (Signal Reception Pathway)
Satisfactory criminal records disclosure
Appropriate public liability insurance

Registered Digital Installers will be entitled to display the digital 'tick' logo - which will be similar to a 'kite mark' or CORGI logo.  It will show customers that the installer has met the quality standards laid down by the official industry regulator.
